Leadership and Governance (LeGo)
Fellowship Program for Mayors

The Leadership and Governance (LeGo) Fellowship Program for Mayors is a premier initiative by the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation (JMRF), conducted in partnership with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Philippines. Designed exclusively for local chief executives, the program advances our mission to build a better nation through the active promotion of good governance. It equips Mayors with the knowledge, strategic frameworks, and tools necessary to institutionalize people empowerment and cultivate a collective effort toward citizen-centered local administration.

Understanding that genuine governance is a collaborative effort, the LeGo program employs a dynamic, multi-stakeholder approach to learning. The core of the program consists of immersive, face-to-face modules and term-planning workshops with the Mayor Fellows.

To ensure that the principles of good governance cascade throughout the entire LGU, the program extends its reach through follow-up virtual sessions with local government department heads, Civil Society Organization (CSO) desk officers, community leaders, and other key experts.
